This blog is a result of the many hours spent on watching
nature. The photos here were taken by my husband, Piotr, and me during our trips.

Ducks

They, I mean couple in the middle, were so involved in their discussion that didn't even notice when the wee duckling escaped and when the lonely one fell asleep for a while! For more birds visit: http://pineriverreview.blogspot.com/2011/03/world-bird-wednesday-xix.html

The European Bisons

We had this interesting encounter last year in the San River Valley in The Bieszczady Mountains. We were very lucky to see them, since there's only one herd in wild there! On the one hand I was excited and tried to come as close as possible, but on the other hand, I was a bit terrified. As you can see they are pretty big!

Sometimes you don't have to leave the city to find pretty interesting birds. These were found in Amsterdam.
