Starks

Starks are back, they are nesting on the chimneys, electric poles, barns - it means that spring is here for good!

I had heard about storks as a child. But I had never seen one. Until, when in the U.S. Navy, we spent some time in Morocco. There I saw storks for the first time...I think they are beautiful birds and your photos are excellent.

Now, I have seen wood storks in Florida - in fact, right here in Stone Creek. They look very similar to the birds in your pictures.

Hi there - I remember see storks when I was in Turkey - splendid birds. They nested all over the place.

Cheers - Stewart M - Australia.

Do you know there are several colonies of storks here that don't migrate anymore? Yes, they already spend winter in Portugal. Global warming effect?
