This blog is a result of the many hours spent on watching
nature. The photos here were taken by my husband, Piotr, and me during our trips.
Hope you'll enjoy!

I took these photos in Danube Delta in July. Unfortunately, due to camera problems I had there, they are not very good, and what is more I'm not sure what are the English names of  these birds. Could anyone help?

I like these Joo.

I think the first might be a Cattle Egret, although the beak looks the wrong colour, so I'm not too sure.
I'm pretty sure the other two are Night Heron.

i would have guessed night heron, but not sure. :)

Sorry, Joo, these birds are unfamiliar to me.

But, in spite of your camera problems, the photos came out quite well. I can see you had a lot of light shining on the delta to contend with but you did a great job 'cause we can see detail on the birds!

All are lovely! The bottom shot deserves being enlarged for a better view of the pretty bird.

I was thinking a heron on the first one and some kind of kingfisher on the others....sorry I can't be of more help...

The first photo, that's an odd bird. An egret of some sort? A crake? The other two photos show a night heron. Can you find out what the Latin names are for these birds. I could easily translate those into English. On the other hand, you could post the photo on the ID Forum of birdforum.net. You have to register, but it's free. Good luck.

Ostatnie dwa zdjęcia powiększone wyglądają wspaniale.Na ptaki lubię i to bardzo patrzeć, ale na pewno nie rozpoznam wielu, tak jak i Twoich
:-(.
Życzę pogodnych, spokojnych i białych Świąt. Pozdrawiam

Hi Joo. The last two are Night Herons for sure and that first one looks like some kind of heron also. Maybe a juvenile? Maybe a Cattle Egret?

Wonderful to be out there seeing these great sights isn't it? Happy Holidays to a great team, Joo and Piotr!

Hi there - I agree with Holding Moments about the birds.

Hope you have a good Christmas - warm and thunder-storms here on the day. What will it be like for you?

My guess is Night Heron, which is tremendous. Well caught Joo.

Not sure ... maybe an egret ... but not matter. Great to be out there and capturing the moments! Happy Holidays!

Looks very light because he can stay on that tiny stick. Don't know bird names too. Merry Christmas!
