Oh my gosh -- beautiful pictures, but looks sooo cold! I know the birds have adapted, but I still feel sorry for them.

Superb images Joo... It's wonderful to hear comments that don't realise how cold Europe can be during winter..

Oh! What kind of birds/duck/gulls are these that they just sit in snow like they sit in sand? Amazing. I've never seen anything like it. Their feathers must keep them warm...and I suppose that's why we use "down" in our pillows and comforters - it keeps us warm!

Is that Piotr feeding the birds in the middle photo?

Boy that looks cold. Aren't birds such hardy creatures?

It is amazing that the mallard ducks are so well insulated that they just pull their legs up and stay warm..Thank you for visiting my blog...Michelle

Fabulous captures, especially love the second shots with all the birds flying about.

I love the gulls on the snow. They look so out of place for "beach" birds. Cheers.
