This blog is a result of the many hours spent on watching
nature. The photos here were taken by my husband, Piotr, and me during our trips.

Seagulls

They are so funny to watch, and cooperate so willingly. These photos were taken in the Isle of Skye two years ago and make my contribution to World Bird Wednesday

Aren't their feet just too strange? Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

I love these things even thought they are pesky and messy and a pain in the rear (especially if you're trying to eat peanuts on a pier)!

It does look like this one was posing for you. Nice photos!

Ale pozuje, do nas przylatują znad morza i czekają na jedzonko, ludzie zimą je dokarmiają, zwłaszcza jak morze jest zamarznięte.
Pozdrawiam.

They are very different to our local sea gulls.

Great shots of the gulls Joo. I love them but find them to be quite a challenge to ID sometimes with so many varied plumages.

oh lovely; I've never seen anything other than a pure white seagull ever.

Hi there - Skye is a wonderful place - and the gulls are nice too. We only have one common species in Australia - lots more around the coast of Scotland.

These gulls are so different from the ones I see here ... these guys have webbed feet (ours do not). Love their feet!

Joo, They do have strange feet. I miss seeing Gulls now that I live inland.
Enjoyable pics!

They seemed to like to balance on one foot although the last one in your photo displays his feet proudly.
